JR BEE (formerly Skip Sterling Studio) is the illustration and animation studio of James Bascara, specializing in conceptual and narrative illustration and animation. His work has been recognized by American Illustration and the Society of Illustrators.
James is a freelance editorial illustrator, and teaches illustration at Parsons School of Design and animation at the School of Visual Arts. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY
